The Community Indicators Consortium (http://www.communityindicators.net/) is coming to St. Petersburg on November 16 and 17, with additional pre- and post-conference activities planned. There will be a call to action to protect and promote unfettered access to data. I will post more information as the details get finalized. The CIC Conference Committee is being chaired by Dr. Allison Pinto and I. We have a strong local planning nucleus and great committee members at the national level. Please mark your calendars for this event if you are interested in the importance of indicators, regardless of the framework that you ascribe to or the focus of your indicator efforts. This is a time for all of those who champion indicators to come together so that we can speak with a unified voice. The conference will also feature neighborhood-led efforts underway in Lake Maggoire Shores. Facts Matter.
